Cooking bacon on the Blackstone griddle is easy. There is a lot of room on the flat top cooking surface to prepare a whole lot of bacon at once! Of course you can prepare as much or as little as you need to feed a few or a crowd! Use a press for perfectly grilled, crisp and sizzling bacon. Cook on medium-high heat temperature or about 400°F.
1lbbacon(adjust for the amount you need; a pound is about 16 regular thickness slices in a package)
1tbspoil(avacado or other oil to spread on griddle before cooking (optional, but makes clean up easy and helps prevent sticking))
Instructions
Apply a light coat of oil to griddle surface before cooking for easy clean up. Helps food to not stick.
Preheat griddle to 400°F (medium-high heat) for 5 minutes.
Separate bacon slices and place in a row on the griddle.
Cook 3 to 5 minutes on each side until desired crispness. Thick bacon takes a few minutes longer to cook.
You can turn bacon several times with tongs or use a spatula or press to keep the slices flat.
Remove slices to a plate that is lined with a paper towel to absorb grease.
Serve and enjoy!
