Fresh Fruit Salad

Fruit Salad

Enjoy a refreshing fresh fruit salad today!  It is super easy to make and is full of all natural healthy fruits and nuts.

How to Make Fruit Salad

This fresh fruit salad has always been one of my favorites, and the ingredients are available year round.  I just pick up an apple, banana, orange and a handful of seedless grapes at the grocery store.  I usually have pecans and coconut on hand at home.  Begin by washing the apple, orange, and grapes.  Peel and slice the orange into small pieces making sure to remove the seeds and white skin.  Put it in a medium bowl to mix.  Next peel and slice the apple and add to the orange pieces in the bowl.  Peel and slice the banana.  I like to stir gently at this point to be sure the orange juices are mixed with the apple and banana to help keep the fruit from turning brown.  Slice the grapes in half and add to the mixture.  Finish with chopped pecans and optional coconut.  Stir gently to mix.  This salad is a refreshing side dish or a light dessert for those hot summer days.  It is also a welcome addition to a brown bag lunch the next day!
