This Simple Coleslaw Recipe is a great compliment for your favorite main dish or a last minute salad to take to a cookout or picnic. It is easy to prepare beforehand and takes the pressure off some of the main day cooking!
This recipe has only three ingredients: Angel hair coleslaw, Duke’s mayonnaise and sugar. I like to mix this up the night before I need it so that it has time to set in the refrigerator and let the dressing marinate for the best flavor, but you can make it a few hours ahead if you need to. It is also a timesaver to pull out a fully prepared dish and put it on the table or grab it to add to the ice chest and go. The leftovers are wonderful to have as an easy addition to your lunch the next day. The mixture will keep about a week in the refrigerator – just stir it up before serving and enjoy!
Simple Coleslaw Ingredients
For this recipe I bought the 10 ounce bag of fresh Angel hair coleslaw. You can buy whatever size your store sells and add more dressing as needed. I like to use Duke’s mayonnaise because it has a unique smooth flavor, but whatever you kind you have on hand will work. Be sure to use granulated sugar.
How to Make Easy Coleslaw
First mix about a cup of mayonnaise and 1/4 cup of sugar in a mixing bowl. Stir well.
Next pour the bag of slaw in another larger mixing bowl. I like to rinse and dry it even if the package says it is pre-washed. Be sure it is dry by blotting well with paper towels.
Add the mayonnaise sugar mixture on top in large spoonfuls.
Finally, mix gently and pour into a Tupperware or Rubbermaid type of container. Be sure the container has a little room left over to stir before serving. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Enjoy the World’s Easiest Coleslaw – it can be your secret just how easy it was to make!

Pour coleslaw into large mixing bowl. Rinse and pat dry with paper towels. In a smaller bowl mix about 1 cup of mayonnaise and 1/4 cup granulated sugar. Stir well. Spoon mayonnaise and sugar mixture on top of coleslaw. Mix gently and refrigerate. Stir again gently before serving. You can adjust the amount of sugar you use to your preference. You can also double or triple the recipe for a large crowd. Always refrigerate and keep cold until serving.Simple Coleslaw Recipe {Easy 3 Ingredients}
